In the early days, Mr. Sufiyan's grandfather (Mr.Haji Nazimuddin) established himself as a skilled manufacturer of precious gemstones. Leveraging his expertise, he partnered with a local brand to showcase his craftsmanship across India. Through dedication to quality and precision, they swiftly gained recognition, laying the groundwork for the esteemed legacy of OREÓ Jewels.
After 1998-2016, under Mr. Imranuddin's (The Son of Mr.Haji Nazimuddin) leadership, the company, now known as OREÓ Gemstone - Handicrafts, expanded its reach to Delhi and various Indian cities. It also ventured into international markets, exporting its products worldwide.
In 2016-2017, Mr.Imranuddin passed the company to his eldest son, Mr. Sufiyanuddin, and his two other sons, initiating a strategic alliance with foreign mines. These collaborations included securing emeralds from Zambia through Gemfields, accessing a variety of emeralds from Colombian mines such as Muzo and Chivor, acquiring rubies from Burma, and obtaining sapphires from Sri Lanka (Ceylon). These alliances not only ensured a sustainable supply of high-quality gemstones but also bolstered OREÓ Gemstone - Handicrafts' position as a global leader in the Gemstone industry.
From 2017 they started participating in exclusive exhibitions to showcase their unique and ancestral art.
In 2019, OREÓ Gemstone - Handicrafts embarked on a significant expansion initiative, opening new branches in key global hubs including Dubai, Bangkok, and Moscow. This strategic move marked a pivotal moment in the company's journey, solidifying its presence on the international stage and affirming its commitment to serving a diverse clientele across the globe.
